5. Instructions for Installing the Pump

* Put the bucket oil pump in a pre-melt bucket of oil and move the whole bucket to the right place of the popcorn machine. To prevent possibility of damage to the heat element, we recommend pre-melting the oil in the bucket with XFD’s Hot Wand (Model No.: HW-450) before inserting the bucket pump.
* Connect the power cord to the oil pump.
* Connect the oil pipe to the oil pipe joint, it’s a Quick Disconnect on the bucket oil pump.
* Press the pump power button on the panel of XFD popcorn machines, the oil pump is ready to be programmed for the oil dispense volume to be delivered to the popcorn machine now.

6. Instructions for Heating the Oil

If the temperature of the environment is higher, the popcorn oil will be liquid state, it doesn’t need to be heated. But when the temperature is below 20°C, the popcorn oil will coagulate, so we need to heat and melt it. To prevent the possibility of damage to the heating element, we recommend pre-melting the oil in the bucket with XFD’s Hot Wand (Model No.: HW-450) before inserting the bucket pump.
Press the oil heating button, then the oil will be heated automatically for 15 minutes(the indicator light of the power button will turn on), then after 3 minutes of standby (the indicator light of the power button will turn off), it will continue to heat for 3 minutes and automatically recur until shutdown.
